Born in Ljubjana, Slovenia, Ana starts dancing at the age of 9 and her first dance teachers are former students of Meta Vidmar’s school.  Later on Ana follows one year of professional dance training at CDNC l’Esquisse in Angers, France. She passes the audition in Paris and  joins the Belgian company Ultima Vez (directed by Wim Vandekeybus). She dances in several creations of Ultima Vez and on international tours.  In 1997 she becomes a student of theater science at Centre d’études théâtrales, Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium and  graduates with the diploma ‘Les actions physiques au théâtre’. After joining Les BGM she co-creates, together with Saïd  Gharbi dance theatre shows.  Dancers, actors and circus artists work for the company.  Ana also conducts research projects in Brussels around stage presence, perception and ritual:   ‘Insaydout’, ‘Rituel révolutionnaire’ and  ‘La musica’.   Ana teaches regular classes and workshops since 1998.
